Service Description
Learn the art of buttercream blooms in this 90-minute hands-on workshop led by Deb Wandell, founder of Edible Art Tahoe and a former San Francisco Chronicle Food & Wine editor. In a relaxed, small-group setting, you'll practice piping techniques and create your own box of six beautifully decorated cupcakes so pretty your friends will think they’re flowers. No prior experience needed. Deb will guide you through creating and tinting buttercream, prepping piping bags, and using professional decorating tips to craft lifelike floral designs. What’s included: – Step-by-step instruction in floral piping – Use of piping tips, bags, and decorating tools – A box of six cupcakes to decorate and take home – Edible Art Tahoe's signature buttercream recipe Optional add-ons: – Take-home floral decorating kit: $25 (includes piping bags, couplers and a set of hand-tuned piping tips for lifelike petals) Details: – Class size minimum 6 people. Limited to 8 participants so everyone gets individual attention, space to create, and time to enjoy.
